Most of the tribes in Afghanistan such as Turkmen, Uzbek, Hazara and Pashtuns are producing these carpets having natural due and most of the wool is acquired from Ghazni Province.

Both are produced by the same people and same wool is utilized, but the quality of these two kinds of carpets(Kazak and Sherveen) is the best and technically calculated as 50 * 50. The design of these carpets are world famous.

Turkmen are made of different colors, different design and different quality. The famous designs are suliamani, sraook, saltuoq,  Jabash, waziari, Bashrei, Khalmohammadi, barqichenar, qurqeen, yakhagul, kepsagul, parnoosgul, takka, turkman, yamut,  jarchango and Sherentagub. These are made in different provinces of Afghanistan such as Mazar sharif, Kundoz, Badghes, Andkhuy, Sheborghan and Akhcha. They use 60% afghan wool and 40% others. And the quality is 35 * 40 to

50 * 50.

Baluchi Carpet is also in different colors having different design and different quality. The famous design is baluch carpet. Kalamdani, Kovdani, yaqubkhani, janbeki, mushmani, maleki,  Adrashkani, zakeni, maldar, timani, karokhi and seemerapah are the name of different tribe in baluch. But the baluch carpets are famous by that tribe name they use their own sheep's wool to produce these baluch carpets in different provinces of Afghanistan like herat badghis para nemrose the weaver of baluch carpets or 50% pashtun and 50% Baluch. The quality of Baluchi carpets are 30 * 35 to 50 * 50 the color of baluch carpets are 70% natural dye 30% not natural.
